Functie omschrijving

As the Group Capex & MRO Category Buyer 

• You have a responsibility for all global Business Units and develop a yearly savings plan with and for them.
• You define and implement the procurement strategy for the CAPEX & MRO categories.
• You are responsible for all negotiations for contracts and frame agreements, SLA’s, RFQ’s/RFI’s, Supplier and Category Performance.
• You implement the purchasing processes in cooperation with the Procurement Excellence Manager. 
• You ensure long-term relationships with suppliers in order to build trust, reduce costs, increase service,… 
• You provide leadership throughout the organization concerning your categories. 
• You identify potential risks and work together with stakeholders to eliminate and mitigate these risks. 
• You work in close cooperation with BU Procurement Manager to ensure correct implementation & compliance of the Category strategies. 
• You share your best practices with the different BUs.

Profiel

PROFIEL

• You have a bachelor or Master’s degree and at least 5 years of Procurement Experience.
• You have a proven experience in Category Management (preferably Capex & MRO)
• You have a good helicopter view and are able to define and deploy the strategy on a global scale.
• You are a strong negotiator and have advanced communication skills
• You have strong decision making skills with focus on collaborative working in a matrix structure.
• You are fluent in English. 
• You are willing to travel 30% of the time.
