Functie omschrijving

You capture requirements, identify opportunities, work intensively in co-operation with the internal customers and procurement colleagues. 

This corporate buyer role is straightforward competitive bidding of projects. Processes can be very complex, as specification are not always that clear and business pressure might urge for vigorous, but always compliant, actions. Main goal for this role is contracting best value, whilst serving the business needs and delivering a compliant procurement project.

You’ll report to the Category Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

• Procure local vs transversal projects.
• Stakeholder management.
• Manage the source-to-contract activities.
• Ensure compliance to national legislation and the companies procurement policy.
• Manage complaints and constructive approach towards claims handling.
• On incidental basis (second line trouble shooting) provide operational support and solve critical procurement problems 
• Keep very good communications with your stakeholders: Head of, Category Managers, Project managers, Business lines, Marketing, Legal, Finance, other sites,…

Profiel

• preferably procurement specific education.
• Proven buying experience in facility categories (Catering, Cleaning, Security,…)
• Min. 5-10 years working experience in the same field.
• Time management and result driven approach in a fast paced and highly demanding environment.
• Proven analytical skills and ability to synthesize information in a coherent manner.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple projects.
• Holistic view on project(s).
• Steady & robust personality, able to work successfully in a very commercial environment.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
